Ang Ulat sa Bayan 2009 (SONA)

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo gave her last State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 27, 2009, before the joint session of the House of Representatives and the Senate. PGMA is scheduled to step down as President in 2010.

However, some doubt whether PGMA would step down and whether this is her last SONA. Some say we should give her the benefit of the doubt. Others counter that she previously announced that she will not run in the last Presidential elections, then she changed her mind and decided to run anyway.

I guess each one is entitled to an opinion. The full text of the 2009 SONA, if you’re interested, is here. There’s a poll here.
