Jeepneys are called “Hari ng Kalsada.” But the way buses are throwing their weight around (no pun intended), buses should be the new “Hari ng Kalsada.” When you’re driving a bus and you swerve, maybe you expect other cars to stay out of your way. Or maybe smaller cars should stand their ground to teach these buses a lesson.
I figure you have one question right now: “Does it work?”
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) hotline, that is (and not standing your ground when a bus swerves towards your lane, which happens to be OUTSIDE the yellow lane). The answer: I’m not sure. The first time I tried to submit a complaint against a public utility vehicle (PUV), the 0921-4487777 hotline was not working, although, in fairness (sorry, I just can’t resist saying the abused “in fairness” phrase), it was ringing when I dialed it a while ago. Let’s hear from those who tried to contact the hotline to submit a legitimate complaint.

…jell transport bus plate txn297 was racing with another jell transport bus at 415pm in SouthLuzon Express way heaading towards Bicutan Exit from Magallanes. almost hit my car and another vehicle. Jell Transport Buses exited Bicutan Interchange and proceeded to unload and then entered South Super Hiway heading to Sucat Interchange. Jell Transport Bus TXN 297 with a Casino Rubbing alcohol advertisement at the back of the bus. This happened at November 28 2010 Sunday 415PM. who ever can help please respond to my complaint and help make roads safer.

I would like to know if there is a fare hike on Fx. Just this morning the driver asked for additional P5 for Cogeo – LRT Santolan route. Yesterday, it was only P25, now he asked for P30. When we complain if there is a fare matrix, he just said it’s already in their terminal. The plate number of the vehicle is TYL 445. Thanks and God bless. That fucking number is not working. I tried to call that number way back to complain one of the Jeepney driver that was so abusive but no body answers the fucking phone. You guys are just wasting your time posting on this site as this was useless as these stupid government officials don’t even care. I’m a tax payer for almost 12 years paying almost a month of their salary but they always do nothing.

if you’re to register your public conveyance vehicle one must seek ltfrb’s confirmation first. para di ka mapenalize para sa late registration sa lto dapat maaga ka sa ltfrb. the problem is the issuance of rsu. sa bagong proseso nahuhuling pinoprocess ang interconnectivy. kaya madalas late na. the shortest possible processing time of rsu according to lto where your vehicle is registered is one month. the big question is dapat bang may penalty sa late registration because of the discrepancy of motor no., chassis no, or just plain encoding lapses made by both agencies. please clarify and confirm. do we have to be penalized sa pagkakamali ng taong gobyerno.

Taxi with Plate Number UVC254 charged us for PHP82.50 from PNB Bldg. located at Macapagal Ave., to Mall of Asia (MOA) on 17 June 2011. The flag down showed PHP40.00, but we were surprised to see the total amount at PHP82.50 that covered a distance of 1.834 KM only. The driver said he did not do anything on the meter, and just showed what it was. He DID NOT DO ANYTHING, knowing that his meter is faster than normal, and that was his lousy justification. The taxi fare on the way back from MOA to PNB was only for PHP57.50, and we requested for a print-out from the taxi to show this amount.
Please take action on the driver/operator of UVC254, and advise us accordingly.
We may also bring up this issue to the media if this is not acted upon in due time.
Everyone is complaining of fuel prices going up that hurts the Philippine Economy and adds so much struggle to the Filipinos to make both ends meet in their daily lives. And yet, there are taxi drivers and operators going around adding to the burden of Juan dela Cruz, not knowing that they also are a part of the ‘Juan dela Cruz’ that they are trying to hurt.
