Money can’t buy you happiness, although many won’t definitely agree with that. So what do you say if instead of struggling to reach a hundred thousand in savings for the year, you’re on the list of the richest Filipinos? But hey, who knows you’ll be in that list years from now.
Forbes recently released richest people in the Philippines for 2008 (see list and discussion here). It’s not just the top ten richest, but the top 40. The richest Pinoy is estimated to be worth P145,700,000,000 (if you happen to hate counting zeroes, that’s 145 Billion Pesos).
Sure, money can bring you happiness, but would it be much better to have friends AND have the billions?
The really good issue about this is that it essentially functions in helping you get richer rather than posing as some remarkable business opportunity just to get rich off what you invest.
